Privacy & HIPAA notice

This website collects only the information you choose to submit through the consultation form: a first name, a phone number or email address, and an optional sentence about your situation. Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and are read only by Dr. Vance.

This site does not use third-party chat widgets, session recorders, or advertising trackers. Visitors are often in distress and sometimes not alone at the screen; the site is built with that in mind.

Clinical records are governed by HIPAA and Maryland law. A full Notice of Privacy Practices is provided to every client before the first session, covering how protected health information is used, stored, and disclosed, and your rights regarding your records.
